Colombia and Costa Rica remain on the UK’s red list.
The Government has stressed you should not travel to red list countries at all.
If you travel back to the UK from a red list country, you will only be allowed to enter the UK if you are a British or Irish National, or if you have residence rights in the UK.
On arrival, you will have to isolate in a government-managed quarantine hotel for 10 days.
So before you rush to book your holiday to any country, it’s crucial to check both the travel rules imposed by the British Government and by the authorities in the country where you intend to visit.
