Season 2 of Baptiste is now well underway, having first aired on July 19 2021.

What TV shows and films has Fiona Shaw been in before?
The actress who play Emma Chambers in both seasons of Baptiste is Fiona Shaw. A veteran in the British acting scene, she’s played many roles that you’ve likely seen before including Petunia Dursley in the iconic Harry Potter film series.
The 63 year-old also played Marnie Stonebrook in the fourth season of HBO’s spooky fantasy series, True Blood. More recently, she graced our screens as Carolyn Martens, the not-so-trustworthy head of the Russian Desk at MI6.
Who is Fiona Shaw’s partner?
Fiona Shaw married wife, Sonali Deraniyagala in 2018. Deraniyagala is a Sri Lankan economist whom Shaw met after reading her memoir, Wave which was published in 2013.
Earlier on in her career, between 2002 and 2005 Shaw was the partner of British actress and model Saffron Burrows who is known for her roles in Boston Legal, Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and the 1995 Maeve Binchy adaptation, Circle of Friends.
Who else is in the Baptiste season 2 cast?
Other than Shaw, Tchéky Karyo reprises his role as the show’s frontman, French detective Julien Baptiste and Anastasia Hille plays Julien’s wife, Celia.
Secondary characters include Nadeem, who is part of Emma’s team at the embassy and is portrayed by Ace Bhatti who you may have also seen in BBC’s Line of Duty.
Dorka Gryllus is a new face on the second season and she plays Hungarian detective, Zsófia Arslan.
