Some of the best pictures from this year’s Valley Fest have been released and it was epic.
After a few false starts due to Covid rules, the extravaganza of local food, music and fairground rides finally kicked off in Chew Magna last Thursday (July 29) and ran until Sunday.
Texas, Deacon Blue and Sophie Ellis-Bextor took to the stage, offering something for everyone – no matter your taste.

And the bonanza really was a feast for all the family. With beautifully cooked grub, beer, cider and activities for kids, several generations could have a good time.

Of course, die-hard revellers also took the chance to dust off their festival garb for the first lakeside bop since 2019.
The footwear of choice was a sturdy welly, but most people caught some sunshine over the four-day weekend, showing off glitter and bright colours and even bridal sashes.
Festival founder Luke Hasell said: “We have all waited so long to be together, this is going to be a party to remember.
“Dust off your dancing shoes, air out your tents and join us in the beautiful lakeside fields.”
