Two open-air cinema experiences are coming to the Bristol area this month, giving people the chance to watch classic films old and new under the stars.
Adventure Cinema are starting off their tour of the South West by hosting Film & Food Fest from Thursday, August 5 until Sunday, August 8 at Clifton Downs.
To ensure the safety of its events, the festival will be socially spacious and cinema-goers will be able to hunker down to watch classic films like Mamma Mia and The Lion King on the big screen.

Those thinking about booking tickets to this event can expect four days of cinema screenings, from classic films to new releases and specially-curated short films made by regional filmmakers.
After the credits roll, there will be a chance for audience members to stay put to see some of the UK’s most popular comedians perform live.
The comedy acts will be hosted by Ivo Graham, who hit the comedy circuit running at the age of 18 and has since starred in TV and radio shows including Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and Live From The BBC.
There will also be a wide variety of food vendors to choose from, which have been curated by Street Food Warehouse.
Then, from Tuesday, August 17 to Wednesday, August 18, the Adventure Cinema tour will stop off at Clevedon Hall in Clevedon to provide an enchanting viewing experience on the lawn outside the Grade II listed manor house.
The 19th-century manor house, which has formerly served as a hospital, school and wedding venue, will now host Adventure Cinema’s movie spectacle.
The programme of films will include family favourites and musicals, such as sing-a-long versions of Grease and The Greatest Showman.
Moviegoers are encouraged to bring picnic food and refreshments, blankets and camping chairs.

Ben Lovell, co-director of Adventure Cinema, said: “We had great fun putting on the UK’s biggest ever drive-in cinema tour last summer, and now we can’t wait to travel all over the country once again, this time with our open-air cinema season.
“Just like with the drive-in shows, we’ve worked very hard to ensure that these events are safe and lots of fun for all the family.
“We’ve got some amazing films to show in some truly incredible spaces, and we’re excited to offer guests two things they may have desperately missed in recent months: the cinema and the great outdoors.”
