In tonight’s explosive Love Island, Weston-super-Mare’s Jake Cornish’s relationship looks rocky for the first time in the villa.
During Movie Night, Jake was heard saying he didn’t fancy Liberty enough to rip her clothes off when they were first getting to know each other.
Liberty Poole said his words really ‘hurt’ her feelings and she started crying with her fellow contestants.

Jake then asked Liberty is she was alright, she said: “This is the most vulnerable you’ll ever see me.
“I know that I’m not a supermodel or this or that.
“To hear you say, ‘I don’t want to rip her clothes off’ was hard.”
He then said: “You’re my girlfriend, I want to take you home to meet my family, you’re my future.”
During another clip, Jake was seen encouraging the other boys to get to know the new girls romantically in Casa Amor, despite already being coupled up with girls in the main villa.
Despite Jake being in an official relationship with Liberty, he was still egging the boys on to romantically get to know other girls but not doing the same himself.
Faye Winter reacts to the video and shouts at Jake saying that he wouldn’t want his sister treated like they had been.
Jake then stormed off.
Fans were quick to defend Liberty on Twitter.
One person wrote: “Libs face when she see’s Jake’s slimy true colours knowing she’s a girls girl and he’s just encouraged the breaking of all their hearts.”
Another said: “Toby speaking sense to Jake is like a blind dog leading a blind man.”
And someone else wrote: “Jake’s game plan is starting to unravel.”
