Ever felt the need to smash up your console or laptop?

Well, now you can get your revenge on your devices by smashing them to smithereens – thanks to a bizarre new therapy service coming to Bristol.
Demolition Therapy, a new service from ElectricalDirect, has announced it is coming to Bristol and other cities across the UK.
It will charge £50 for one person plus a friend to enjoy 30 minutes in a special ‘rage room’, where they can smash up consoles using a variety of tools including hammers, brick, axes and mallets.
A golf club and crowbars will be among the other weapons of choice.
Devices up for grabs to smash include gaming consoles, televisions, laptops, keyboards and PC monitors.
All ‘smashables’ will be devices that are unusable, to avoid unnecessary wastage.
The exact location of the Demolition Therapy sessions are to be revealed soon, with dates being released on its website.
Dominick Sandford, director of ElectricalDirect said: “It’s been a stressful 18 months for all of us, and most of us have been adversely affected at one point or another.
“While technology may have helped alleviate boredom, connect and entertain us during this time, at points, it certainly added to frustrations, as dodgy connections, people on mute, and endless screen time in lieu of human interaction added to already stressful situations.
“At ElectricalDirect, although electrical goods are our bread and butter, we recognise this reality, and wanted to do something fun about it.
“Thus – Demolition Therapy was born.”
People can ‘sign up to smash’ on the website to find out more about locations and dates.
The site confirms: “Everything you can smash in Demolition Therapy was already broken to minimise unnecessary wastage.
“We recycle and re-purpose anything in working condition, you destroy the stuff that has no further purpose.”
