Dozens of balloons launched from Ashton Court on Saturday morning (August 14), filling the skies over Bristol as the Balloon Fiesta continued across the city.
As part of the event’s ‘Fiesta Fortnight’ programme, the city has already seen incredible spectacles in the skies this week, with a simultaneous launch across five different sites in the city delighting viewers on Wednesday.
After flying from Filton’s Elm Park and a multi-location lift from Queen Square, Hartcliffe’s Bridge Learning Campus, Withywood’s Merchant’s Academy, Hanham Common and Cranford Park in Westbury on Trym, the Fiesta Fortnight continued, on this occasion launching from the traditional location of Ashton Court.
